I’m a recent International Business Management graduate based in UAE, still figuring out where I fit best, somewhere between marketing, HR, and general business operations. I’ve interned in HR, created marketing strategies for brands like H&M and NIO through my coursework, and enjoy experimenting with design tools like Canva and Figma. I like being hands-on, whether that’s onboarding new hires, designing a presentation, or planning a campaign. I may be early in my career, but I’m curious, adaptable, and always up for learning something new.

During my time at Dubai Golf, I worked closely with the HR team and gained hands-on experience across several core HR functions. My main responsibilities included managing both digital and physical employee files, creating offer letters, and supporting onboarding for new hires. I also tracked pending recruitment documents using Excel and assisted with visa processing and background checks.

One of the highlights was helping streamline internal communication by designing onboarding visuals and collages using Canva. I was trusted to maintain intern documentation independently and was recognized with a performance premium for exceeding expectations.

Key Outcomes:

– Managed 100+ employee and intern files with zero errors during audits
– Successfully onboarded multiple hires and ensured timely document completion
– Helped improve the clarity and presentation of onboarding materials through visuals

I completed a beginner course on blockchain through Binance Academy, which introduced me to the fundamentals of how blockchain works, including decentralization, smart contracts, and crypto wallets. It sparked my interest in Web3 and how blockchain is shaping the future of business and technology. I’m still exploring the space and plan to keep learning more about how it’s applied in marketing, operations, and digital ecosystems.

In this role, I worked within the accounts and operations department and supported the transition from manual receipting to a more automated system. I was responsible for daily data entry, verifying transaction records, and helping maintain accurate ledgers.

This internship gave me a strong understanding of the back-end side of business operations, especially in financial documentation, accuracy, and cross-departmental communication.
